James Blake Is Donating Proceeds From Two San Francisco Shows To Oakland Fire Relief
The 1-800 Dinosaur tour stops will become benefits for victims of the Ghost Ship tragedy.
James Blake is set to DJ at San Francisco's Public Works this Thursday and Friday night, as a part of 1-800 Dinosaur's current North American run. Today, the label put up a post on Facebook letting fans know they'd be donating proceeds from both San Francisco parties to victims of the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland.
"In light of the events in Oakland last weekend we will be contributing money from our two San Francisco parties to the Fire Relief Fund," reads the post. Blake and the label also both posted the news along with a link to the relief fund set up by San Francisco's Grey Area, which has already raised over $400,000 for victims and their families so far.
Blake plays Public Works this Thursday, December 8 and Friday, December 9, along with Airhead, Dan Foat, Klaus, and Mr. Assister.
