Watch Run The Jewels Scheme About Their Surprise Album Drop On Portlandia

As promised, Run the Jewels will appear in an episode of Portlandia for the show's forthcoming seventh season, and today IFC debuted a new teaser featuring Mike and El-P.

In the skit, the duo takes a meeting with reps from a PR company (played by Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen), who run through some quick attention-grabbing schemes for how to drop their new album, RTJ3. Fortunately for us, RTJ3 gifted us the album for Christmas, making it available for free download, or in not free physical form, as of yesterday. Watch them make the announcement in the teaser up top.
