On Tuesday, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced their 2017 lineup, headlined over the course of two weekends by Beyoncé, Radiohead, and Kendrick Lamar. Show Me The Body, the New York City punk trio, was included in the lineup that says they are scheduled to play sets on April 16 and 23, the same days headlined by Lamar. But Show Me The Body say they never agreed to play the festival and took to Twitter address Coachella and Goldenvoice, the promotion company who puts on the annual festival.
"UPDATE: We never agreed to play Coachella. We were offered but we said no," the band wrote on Twitter. "Hopefully @goldenvoice and @coachella will not exploit our name." In another tweet they added, "OR GIVE US ALL THE MONEY."
A representative for Show Me The Body declined to comment further to The FADER. Representatives for Goldenvoice were not immediately available for comment.

Update: January 6, 06:42 a.m. Show Me The Body will now play Coachella, as well as two fund-raisers prior to the festival.
The band confirmed that Coachella have booked them to perform at this year's event. They have also announced plans to play a show raising funds for homeless LGBT youth and another in support of California climate advocacy efforts. The fundraiser shows were announced in the wake of accusations about Coachella owner Philip Anschultz's anti-equality political donations.
UPDATE: @coachella amended their offer. We will play on day three at 4pm for 25 minutes.
