The xx will embark on a North American tour this year, and once again, they've announced upcoming dates by sending fans free tickets in the mail. The trio used the same strategy late last year to announce dates in Europe, and today fans in several U.S. cities took to social media to show off the messages sent to them by the band.
So far, fans have posted examples in Dallas, Philadelphia, and Portland, Maine. It appears the tickets were sent out with orders that included copies of the band's first single from their forthcoming I See You, "On Hold." They also dropped off their second single from the album, "Say Something Loving," earlier this week.
Update: January 5, 10:30 a.m. The xx has confirmed details of their 2017 North American tour.
