Stormzy has gone quiet on us in recent months. He hasn't released any new music since dropping the theme song to British film Brotherhood in August 2016 and his once active Twitter and Snapchat have vanished. Of course, this is because the grime MC has been rolling up the sleeves on his red tracksuit and working on his debut album. There's no official word on when that will drop just yet, but the first hint at something new from Stormzy has arrived in the form of a new billboard poster campaign.

The ads, one of which can be seen above, have cropped up in east and west London today, January 30. They have Stormzy's #MERKY logo in the corner and a February 24 date as well as the hashtag #GSAP. The billboards also appear to include lyrics such as, "Ain't dropped nothing for a minute. I'm fine," and "You're getting way too big for your boots."

The FADER has reached out for more information. See below for more images from around London today.
