The phrase "good things come to those who wait" is one of those cliches that's often annoyingly true, and Oakland singer and producer 1-O.A.K.'s new video for "Lost & Found" is a testament to patience and perseverance. The Adrian Per-directed visual finds 1-O.A.K. and a legion of other notable Bay Area faces, such as fellow Honor Roll member Trackademicks, waiting in a line that snakes around the city of San Francisco for the chance to meet a special woman.
"I'm always inspired by personal experiences," 1-O.A.K. told The FADER over email. "For 'Lost & Found' it was meeting a girl after what felt like a century of being alone. I guess I was just high on the feeling of excitement of being in love again." As for his upcoming Riding In Cars With Girls album, 1-O.A.K. says the project "feels like a man trying to find himself through the experiences he has and the choices he makes with women."
