Join Jubilee For A Night Out In The FADER’s New Short Documentary
The Mixpak artist invites us into her nighttime world in After Hours, a film named after her debut album.
Jubilee is a linchpin of New York's nightlife world. The flamingo-loving Mixpak artist moved to the city from Florida almost 15 years ago, bringing with her a deep love for Miami bass and a curiosity for the kind of global dance music styles that make the most sense at 3 a.m.
In The FADER's new short film, which is named after her debut album After Hours, we follow her on a night out: the pregame at her Manhattan apartment, dinner with her inner circle, a hazy DJ set in the club, and, of course, endless cab rides. We learn what drives her grind, how her friends inspire her, and what she has in common with Kayne West: "I don't want to fuck with anyone who goes to bed early, either," she says.
