Drake was due to play a show at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on Monday night as part of his Boy Meets World tour. However, the March 27 show was called off at the last minute with thousands of fans already in place at the venue. As Billboard reports, the show's promoter came out on stage to break the news to fans.
A representative for the promoter Mojo Concerts explained that Drake had been taken ill and that he was unable to perform that night. Angry fans threw their drinks and booed her while she spoke. See fan shot footage of the moment below.

Mojo later shared a statement on Facebook in which they stated: “Drake wanted to perform tonight, but unfortunately he became ill and his doctor has told him he can’t perform.”
The Ziggo Dome show has been rescheduled until March 29. A separate March 28 show in Amsterdam will go ahead as planned.
A rep for Drake was not immediately available when contacted by The FADER.
