Not only is "Mask Off" Future's highest charting single of all time, on Tuesday it was announced that the song had gone platinum. The track has sold 1 million units since coming out in February on Future's self-titled album.
The song sky rocketed in popularity following the #MaskOffChallenge, where people recorded themselves covering the song's flute sample on various instruments.
Earlier this week, "Mask Off" reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Future's highest charting song ever.
Following the announcement of the single's platinum status, Future tweeted that he was "forever thankful." The rapper also acknowledged that his song "Low Life" featuring The Weeknd, has gone triple platinum.
