A year after Prince's untimely passing, our still-lingering hurt is soothed by the notion that his spirit and influence remains with us. So today, we're revisiting this video of students from Girard College Lower School in Philadelphia playing "Let's Work," a track from Prince's album Controversy. As far as covers go, this one is meticulous: there's even acrobatics from one kid, a staple of Prince's live show for the majority of his career. Originally filmed in December 2016, this perfectly funky rendition is a much needed spot of brightness in a solemn day.
