Drake To Host The First-Ever NBA Awards On TNT

Over the course of his career, Drake has become a common site on the sidelines of NBA games, supporting his hometown Toronto Raptors in his role as ambassador and cheering on the league's biggest stars during big games. The NBA announced Tuesday that its tapped Drake to host the first-ever NBA Awards On TNT, which will broadcast live from Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City on June 26.

During the event, the NBA will present awards for Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Sixth Man Award, Most Improved Player and Coach of the Year. Watch the announcement clip below.
