BET has unveiled the nominees for their 2017 awards, which will air on the network on June 25. Beyoncé leads the field with seven nominations for her Lemonade visual album. Bruno Mars follows Beyoncé with five nominations. The front-runners are followed by Solange, Migos, and Chance the Rapper, who each earned four nods.
Beyoncé's nominations include best female R&B/pop artist (going up against her sister Solange), best collaboration (for her Kendrick Lamar collab "Freedom), album of the year, and video of the year. In addition to nominations for album of the year and video of the year, Mars is also up for best male R&B/pop artist. Migos will contend for best group and best collaboration (for "Bad and Boujee" with Lil Uzi Vert).
For best male hip-hop artist, the field includes Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, Future, Big Sean, and Chance the Rapper. Chance is also nominated for best new artist, alongside 21 Savage, Cardi B, Khalid and Young M.A.
