The latest person to get dissed during a commencement speech is U.S. Vice President Mike Pence. Pence was selected as this year's commencement speaker for the University of Notre Dame and during the middle of his speech Sunday morning, a sizeable group of students walked out in protest. Pence isn't the first to get this sort of treatment. Earlier this year, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos was booed and heckled as she gave her keynote address at Bethune-Cookman University, a historically black university.
