Hear new music from Sumney ahead of his forthcoming debut album.
Moses Sumney announced a record label deal with Jagjaguwar on Tuesday morning, and to celebrate, he's dropped off a video for his new song "Doomed." The clip is set underwater and shows Sumney floating in a tank of water as he performs the atmospheric ballad.
"Doomed" will appear on Sumney's forthcoming debut album, described in a press release as "an intimate concept record about lovelessness as a sonic dreamscape."
In addition to the "Doomed" video and label deal, Sumney has also confirmed details of North America and European tour dates. The run of shows begins in San Diego on September 22 with the U.S. and Canada shows running through to October 25 at LA's Fonda Theater. Sumney will then travel to Europe for live dates in the U.K., France, and beyond. Find full dates and venue details here.
