Vic Mensa is back today with a video for his new anthemic single, "Rage." The intense clip tracks Vic's own struggles with addiction and mental health via the song's plane crash metaphor. "Riding a burning road/ Running low, not a soul who could know/ It's every man who swept the burning ashes from the road," the singer confesses on the bridge.
In an email to The FADER, Mensa explained that the song laid the formative groundwork for his upcoming project. "This music video & song were done before the rest of the album was recorded, and really laid the foundation for the emotions that would become The Autobiography."
The new project will be out on July 28, preorder here.
