Drake Is Still Getting Checks For Degrassi

Part of Drake's origin story is the time he spent on the Canadian teen soap opera Degrassi. Still going by Aubrey Graham at the time, the Toronto native played Jimmy and was best known for getting paralyzed after being shot in the back. Anyway, Drake left the show in 2007 to become the man we know today, but that doesn't mean he's not still getting paid.

The rapper posted a photo of a residual check on Tuesday for a whopping $8.25. "Degrassi money still coming in don't sleeeeeeeep...💰💸💵💴💴💶💷," he wrote in the caption.
