The Nike x Tom Sachs “Mars Yard 2.0” Is Dropping Later This Month

The highly coveted Mars Yard 2.0, created by contemporary artist Tom Sachs and Nike as a part of their collaborative NIKECraft capsule collection, will be released on July 27. The sneakers were designed in conjunction with Sach's film The Hero’s Journey — which features Frank Ocean — and the artist's Space Camp, the event/obstacle course at which the kicks were originally released in June. While developing his "SPACE PROGRAM" project, Sachs interacted with NASA scientists, which in turn inspired the shoe's design.
