Two years ago, I posted an insane video where Californian musician Shawn Wasabi mashed up 153 songs live to make “Marble Soda.” He’s released a few similar songs since, but none quite as real as “OTTER POP,” if that makes sense. With adorable vocals by a relatively new singer called Hollis, it’s nothing like a gimmick, just a great pop tune. One of the best of 2017. Play this, then Charli XCX’s “Boys,” then this again, then “Boys” again, then look down and be happy to be alive and floating on a cloud.
