Atlanta rapper Yung Mazi was shot and killed in the Kirkwood neighborhood of the city on Sunday night, 11Alive reports.
Atlanta police responded to reports of shots fired intersection of Oakview Road and Hosea L. Williams Drive, outside a restaurant called Urban Pie, at around 8:55 p.m. Mazi had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the scene.
"We feel that the victim was targeted," Atlanta police Lt. Ricardo Vasquez told WAGA-TV news on Sunday, according to Patch. "We don't feel that there was anybody else who was an intended person of the shooting and we have very little to go on at this time."
Mazi had previously been injured in a shooting at a Waffle House in the Buckhead area of Atlanta on December 27, 2016. Before his death, Mazi had been associated with Kevin Gates's Breadwinners' Association.
Rich Homie Quan, TM88, and more have taken to social media to pay their respects to the late rapper.
A representative for Yung Mazi was not immediately available for comment.
