Jason Aldean performs on SNL in tribute to Las Vegas victims

Jason Aldean performed a cover of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down" in tribute to the 59 people who were killed and the additional 512 people who were injured in the deadliest modern shooting in the United States. The shooting took place during Jason Aldean's set at the Route 91 music festival.

The song is also a tribute to the late Tom Petty, who suffered a fatal heart attack on Tuesday.
