After he was shot multiple times in Hollywood in September, Young Dolph wasted no time bouncing back. The Memphis rapper has built his career off his dogged hustle, and, just a week after he was released from the hospital, Dolph dropped his new album Thinking Out Loud. His latest video for the Zaytoven-produced "Point Across," which premieres on The FADER today, is a demonstration of the spoils of his hard work.
In a recent interview with The FADER, Dolph explained his mentality when it comes to the grind. "I respect people that build a career for themselves," he said. "I don’t give a damn if it’s a hustle that’s already big or you go to work at Kroger every day, the grocery store. Or you work at Walmart. You work, so I respect you. You don’t work, what can we do? We can’t relate.”
