As it becomes inevitable that Harvey Weinstein is indicted on sexual assault charges, TMZ reports that Terry Crews has moved forward with filing a police report about his own sexual assault. Last month the actor revealed on Twitter that he was assaulted by a then unnamed male Hollywood executive. That man has since been unmasked as Adam Venit, who has been reportedly been placed on leave by WME.
Crews's statement came as a direct effect of breaking stories about Weinstein. According to his tweets, Venit "came over 2 me and groped my privates." According to TMZ, the statute of limitations is not up and as such, the charges could lead to a criminal investigation.
This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to ME. (1/Cont.)
