I trust everybody who text RESIST to 50409

On Thursday morning, December 14, communications regulator The F.C.C. is scheduled to meet for a vote. They are expected to repeal existing legislature and allow U.S. internet providers the ability to block access to some websites, and speed up service for others. The meeting is due to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET and will run for two hours. The whole thing will be streamed live on the F.C.C website too.
The importance of this vote, and the fallout from the likely result, can't be overstated. In the run up to the decision artists including Metro Boomin, Khalid, and Lizzo have been urging their followers to take direct action by contacting Congress, as well as educating people on exactly why net neutrality is important.
See below for a selection of the artists who have something to say, and revisit The FADER's explainer on how this fundamental change to the internet will affect us all.
We have about a week left of free internet.
