Cypress Hill hinted on Instagram that they might finally release Elephants on Acid, Complex notes. The album was first announced in 2016, and would be the legendary group's first in eight years, following 2010's Rise Up.
In an interview from 2016, B-Real explained that Cypress Hill albums traditionally take "one or two years to make an album," not counting tour time.
"What you start with may not be what ends up there," he explained, "so when I did all my stuff I left the studio. I didn’t take no demos, no nothing. I don’t know what the fuck any of it sounds like until the very end.”
In 2016, B-Real also formed Prophets of Rage along with members of Public Enemy and Rage Against the Machine.
