Over two decades after their storied first album Dr. Octagonecologyst, Kool Keith, Dan The Automator, and DJ Qbert have reunited as the original lineup for Keith's extraterrestrial alter-ego Dr. Octagon. Today, the trio are sharing "Octagon Octagon," the first single from their long-awaited sophomore album entitled Moosebumps: An Exploration Into Modern Day Horripilation, due out in April.
The new track is a slow-marching word association exercise for Kool Keith, who gives way to Qbert to scratch at the end of the track. "After a short hiatus we’re back," Dan The Automator told The FADER over email. Keith added, " One of the best sophomore albums recorded."
