Black Panther director Ryan Coogler convinced Kendrick Lamar to curate the album during a prescreening of the historic film. The opening weekend of the film has big in other ways as well. Entire theaters have been bought out by celebrities, including Kendrick Lamar, so that kids could see the movie. And opening night saw people showing up in incredible outfits and costumes all over the world.
