On Monday night, March 5, Chance The Rapper gave a talk at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. During the talk he was quizzed about his upcoming projects, including collaborations with Childish Gambino and Kanye West. Highlights from the talk were documented on the MCA's Twitter account and can be seen below.
“We perpetuated that rumor for a long time without recording anything (laughs)... We did link up in Atlanta and record some tracks and... they’re amazing,” Chance told journalist Adrienne Samuels Gibbs when asked about his work with Donald Glover.

Chance was a little more evasive when asked about working with Kanye West, but did say he had learned about the art of multi-tasking from 'Ye.The pair previously worked together on The Life Of Pablo. He also dropped a gold anecdote about the types of people you meet when you hang with Kanye.
“We know Kanye has some new music coming, are you working with him on anything?”@chancetherapper “Uhhhhhhhh.... I guess!”

I met one lady who worked on the LEGO movie and she was talking to, get this, *a magician.* They were talking about how to make Kanye disappear during a show.
The Childish Gambino and Chance The Rapper mixtape was first announced in 2014 and then was teased again at the beginning of last year. At the 2017 Emmys Glover joked that the mixtape had to come out or "a bunch of 14-year-olds are gonna kick my ass."
