Earlier this week Marvel, FX, and Donald Glover abandoned plans for an animated Deadpool series. "Creative differences" were blamed for the superhero not making it to the screen in cartoon form. Publications including Variety also cited Glover's hectic work schedule, he's starring in the new Star Wars movie as well as touring as Childish Gambino, as being a potential factor in this decision.
However, in a tweet sent on Wednesday morning he wrote "for the record: i wasnt too busy to work on deadpool" and shared lengthy extracts of a Deadpool script (Spoiler: it ends with the show being canceled).
