Drake says he’s releasing a new single today

Drake has said he will release a new song on Friday. He made the announcement on stage at a Majid Jordan gig in Toronto on Thursday night. “The reason I’m here tonight is because I’m back in the city finishing my album,” he said. “I’ve got a new single dropping tomorrow night too, just in case you got some free time.” Check out fan footage below. The single will be Drake's follow-up to smash hit "God's Plan," released earlier this year.

A rep for Drake was not immediately available for comment.
