Watch Denzel Washington rap a bit of “Bodak Yellow”

Denzel Washington didn't enjoy the last time he was turned into a meme, so he may have really stepped in it this time: during a recent red carpet, The Root asked him to rap Cardi B's hit "Bodak Yellow," and the Oscar-winning legend obliged. He only managed to quote a few bars from the song in between the giggling, but Washington got serious when asked what advice he would share with Cardi: "Don't believe the hype. Stay true to yourself. Keep it real, for real."

Cardi B released her debut album Invasion of Privacy last week, and it's great.
