If you've ever been on the wrong side of credit card fraud, you'll know that scamming is no joke. Nike Boi knows that, too. Today, he's debuting "Scammers," featuring Valee and produced by T.Y. Made It. "The inspiration behind this song simply came from being surrounded by real life experiences growing up in Chicago," explained Nike Boi.
"I feel like Chicago is home of the scammers. Scamming became popular when Facebook started popping in 2008... I don't wanna say too much detail about actual scamming, but don’t get scammed,” he added. Fair.
The song came out of a "late night session" with Chance the Rapper and Jeremih, and it retains that bright, inventive Chicago energy. Listen below.
