In the opening moments of Childish Gambino's video for the "This Is America" a man wearing white linen picks up a guitar, and sits down on a chair. People on Twitter theorized that the man in the video was Trayvon Martin's father, Tracy Martin. Trayvon Martin was the teenage boy murdered in Florida in 2012, and his killer was found not guilty.
The man featured at the beginning of the video was not Tracy Martin, however. It was actually an artist and actor who goes by the name Calvin The Second. Calvin posted to his social media that he was in the video, saying that he "got to be part of history" by being in the video.
Gambino's video, directed by Hiro Murai, is packed with social and political messages about the lives of Black Americans, making references to police brutality, domestic terrorism, and gun violence in the video. You can watch "This Is America" above.

The man playing the guitar in the intro of the This is America video is Trayvon Martins dad. Donald Glover did not come to play.
