Adult Swim just ordered 70 new episodes of Rick and Morty

Adult Swim has officially renewed Rick and Morty, its hit cartoon series, for 70 more episodes, Variety reports.

The new episodes of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's sci-fi comedy do not have an airdate yet, but the new order represents more than twice the number of previously aired Rick and Morty shows (31). The show's third season concluded in October 2017.

Harmon and Roiland confirmed the news with posts on their personal Instagram pages:
