The National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C. has announced a new exhibition highlighting the cultural impact of The Oprah Winfrey Show. The daytime talk show, hosted by Winfrey, launched in 1986 and ran for 25 seasons until 2011. The year long exhibition opens on June 8th and will, "Explore the life and legacy of media powerhouse and cultural icon Oprah Winfrey," according to the museum's Instagram account.
