SZA brought home one of the first awards of the 2018 BET Awards with her win for Best New Artist. It is one of the four nominations she has for the night. It is another upswing in her career, following the news that her voice was not permanently damaged following extensive touring. Taking less than 30 seconds to deliver her acceptance speech, but giving a poignant piece of advice none the less: "Follow your passion, ignore everyone." Watch her full speech above.
