Drake may be looking to leave his label Cash Money Records – on "Is There More," a song on his new album Scorpion, he raps "Soon as this album drops I'm out of the deal." If Drake does go looking for a new home for his music, it could come with another project: Variety reported on Tuesday that Drake has another release ready to drop as soon as any new label deal is announced.

It's unconfirmed whether the "release" Drake reportedly has prepared is another album, and there's no timeline on when or even if Drake plans to move labels. But no matter what discussions Drake ends up entering, he's got some leverage: Scorpion is the first album in history to be streamed over a billion times in its first week, and moved an estimated 749,000 album units with seven of its songs charting on the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
