Kanye West’s College Dropout temporarily removed from Apple Music

Def Jam blame a “glitch” for the 2004 album vanishing from the streaming platform.

Kanye West's 2004 album College Dropout has been removed from Apple Music and iTunes. The album, which includes the songs "All Falls Down" and "Jesus Walks," is still listed on rival streaming sites Spotify and TIDAL.

No official reason for the removal of College Dropout is available at the time of writing. A Reddit user claims to have contacted Apple customer support to be told that “the record label pulled the album from Apple Music.”

Kanye West's back catalog, including recent releases ye and Kids See Ghosts, remain available to Apple Music users.

Update: 07/16/18: A rep tells Stereogum a "glitch" is to blame

A rep for Def Jam clarified that the label did not pull College Dropout from Apple Music and that the album will return to the service: “There must be some sort supply chain glitch.”
