throne2 coming soon
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 8, 2018
Kanye West is the king of cryptic tweets and on Saturday he shared a short but brow-raising message that might mean another project is on the way. "Throne2 coming soon," the tweet reads, referring to the potential follow-up to his 2011 collaborative album with Jay Z, Watch The Throne.
According to Billboard, the album spent 62 weeks on the charts, so it only makes sense West would want to make a sequel. The pair has had a pretty strained relationship for a few years, so the tweet was definitely a surprise to most, but since he didn't confirm it would be alongside Jay again only time will tell what West actually has up his sleeve.
Naturally, people have plenty of feelings, and suspicisions, about it.
