Sada Baby had a big 2018, captivating viewers and listeners with his energetic videos and rising to become one of Detroit's most exciting rap talents. In the first weeks of the new year, he released Bartier Bounty, his first project since 2017. "Honest" is a perfect example of Sada Baby's form on the project: he gasses for almost three straight minutes, hardly breathing in between punchlines like "Got more money than yo' grandaddy retired with" and "I'm in every bitch crib like some Ugg boots."
The video for the song, which premieres on The FADER today, serves as part music video, part tour diary, as Sada Baby and crew hit the road to bring his gospel to the masses. “This video represents what happens when me and the homies link up," Sada Baby told The FADER over email. "My squad is on a whole different vibe and we’re taking the movement from city to city. Shout out to Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Louisville for allowing us to come through and shoot show footage.”
