There’s a new episode of the Wu-Tang Clan’s Showtime doco Of Mics and Men out this Friday, and to go along with it, the group will be releasing an EP of music inspired by the series. The documentary, directed by reporter Sacha Jenkins, uses archival footage and interviews with the group to tell the band’s story. This year marks 25 years since the group released their seminal record Enter the Wu-Tang.
Of Mics and Men will be Wu-Tang’s first music since selling the only copy of their 2015 album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin to big pharma pest Martin Shkreli. The group also released a record in 2017 under the name Wu-Tang, due to the fact that it was not recorded by the entire group.
