Laverne Cox (Orange Is The New Black) made her music debut last year with "Beat For The Gods," and she returns today with a new song "Welcome Home," co-produced with Smirnoff.

The song recalls the heydays of '90s house, but it's built for the current political moment: "Wouldn't it be nice if there was a place that accepted everyone/ A place that says 'give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to vogue free,'" Cox says, invoking the Statue of Liberty as she declares the dancefloor as the realization of that ideal.

"Welcome Home" is released to celebrate Pride Month in New York City. 100% of the song's streaming and download profits will be donated to the Transgender Law Center, so run it up below on Apple Music.
