Fresh off tour alongside Jorja Smith, London-based singer Ama Lou recently dropped the visuals to her single “Northside,” a bouncy ode to the neighborhood she was raised in, Stoke Newington.
The video finds Ama singing, dancing and vibing in an all-white room, eventually calling on her friends to join in. The clip also features cameos from friends like Odd Future’s Taco, A$AP Nast, and model, Fai Khadra.
The Murda Beatz and Frank Dukes-produced track is set to be featured on Ama’s upcoming EP, due this winter.
The track is the singer’s first following a busy summer, which found her performing at festivals across the world including Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and MOMA Ps1’s Warm Up in New York City.
