The soundtrack to new movie Queen + Slim was released on Friday. Included on the album soundtrack is "Guarding The Gates," a new song by Lauryn Hill. Scroll down to listen now.
Queen + Slim is the directorial debut of Melina Matsoukas, best known for multiple Beyoncé videos, and stars Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith as a young couple on the run from the law. The movie opens in U.S. theaters on November 27.
In addition to Lauryn Hill, the soundtrack also features new material from Vince Staples ("Yo Love"), Megan Thee Stallion ("Ride or Die"), Lil Baby, Syd, and Burna Boy. In addition to the soundtrack, Queen + Slim was scored by Dev Hynes a.k.a. Blood Orange.
Earlier this year Lauryn Hill featured on Pusha T's “Coming Home" and was sampled by 21 Savage.
