Andrew Yang has alerted his “#YangGang” to a fundraiser pop-up event tomorrow (Thursday, December 19) hosted by himself and Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino. The event, set to take place in Los Angeles, will occur ahead of Yang’s appearance in the seventh Democratic primary debate. Per Pitchfork, Glover’s manager confirmed that this is a fundraising event, and that both Glover and Yang will be there.
Earlier this year, Glover released Guava Island, a new film starring himself and Rihanna. Later in the year, he starred as Simba in Disney’s new remake of The Lion King; he also appeared on the album’s soundtrack album The Gift, curated by Beyoncé. His Emmy-nominated FX show Atlanta was recently renewed for a third season.
