Kevin Parker, the Perth-based producer and multi-instrumentalist behind Tame Impala, has released The Slow Rush, his fourth record and follow-up to Currents. A change in direction for the psych-rock auteur, Parker told The FADER that The Slow Rush was inspired by Travis Scott and Mike Dean, and that, more than ever, it “could be MDMA music.” The album was led by the singles “It Might Be Time,” “Borderline” — a new mix of which is on The Slow Rush — and “Lost In Yesterday.” Listen to The Slow Rush below, and read our interview with Parker here.
