New York dream pop duo Phantogram were ready to celebrate at SXSW this year on the back of their fourth LP Ceremony. Instead, they’re on lockdown like most of the world. On the bright side, Sarah Barthel is at home with her dog, Leroy, and we all get to meet him in a short segment that the band provided to Digital FORT.
The band’s other half, Josh Carter, turns our attention to a charity close to his heart, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which “raises awareness, funds scientific research and provides resources and aid to those affected by suicide.” You can find out more about the AFSP's important work here.
Digital FORT is a two-day event bringing together over 100 artists to help raise money for those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. To find a full list of charities, funds, and resources we’re highlighting throughout FORT, click here.
