Vans launches new livestream network Channel 66

Anyone who's had the chance to get buck at House of Vans knows that the shoe brand knows how to throw a party — pour one out for the Greenpoint location. While the exact future of their remaining physical outposts remains uncertain as the pandemic continues to ravage most of the planet, Vans is adapting to the new reality with a new endeavor called Channel 66.

Described as "community radio meets public access TV," Channel 66 will broadcast live from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Mexico City every weekday beginning today. Early guest DJs include the likes of Japanese Breakfast, Channel Tres, Laura Jane Grace, Duckwrth, Rosa Pistola, Flea, Serena Isioma, with additional programming promised from the likes of GZA, Walter Schreifels, Afropunk, Brooklyn Vegan, and the Young Chicago Authors.
