The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, or VMAs, are upon us, and, as usual, they're a star-studded affair, with everyone from Lil Nas X to Justin Bieber to Madonna to Normani appearing at the two-hour televised award ceremony. Bieber made his first appearance at the awards in six years to perform "Ghost" with rising rapper The Kid Laroi, while breakout star Olivia Rodrigo performed "good 4 u" in addition to winning the award for Best New Artist. Lil Nas X performed his latest single, "Industry Baby", with Jack Harlow, and took home Video Of The Year for his controversial "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" video.
