Halsey's excellent album If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power arrived in 2021 with two bonus tracks exclusive to the physical edition. The digital version of the album was one of our favorites released last year, but more music from that album's sessions is always a good thing. Today, those tracks have found their way onto streaming services.

“Nightmare (Reprise)” is a new version of Halsey's 2019 hit (the original version has, somewhat unnecessarily, also been added to the album's tracklist). Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, If I Can't Have Love's producers, take over from Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat and make the song more synthy and gothy and less pop-punk. On “People Disappear Here,” Halsey casts smoke and intrigue a la David Lynch's Mulholland Drive for a relatively downtempo scorcher dotted with synth arpeggios and jazz piano. Listen to them both below.
