Mitski was the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night. She played her Laurel Hell song "Stay Soft" in a performance featuring Mitski performing barefoot in a billowing white dress and pulling off some sleek choreography. Check it out above.
The Kimmel performance arrives during a series of headline tour dates that caught some attention last week when Mitski called on fans to resist the urge to record large sections of her live show. "Sometimes when I see people filming entire songs or whole sets, it makes me feel as though we are not here together," she wrote in a Twitter thread. "This goes for both when I’m on stage, and when I’m an audience member at shows."

Laurel Hell was released in February. This summer Mitski will open for Harry Styles on his stadium tour of Europe.
